This pamphlet contains information which essentially relates to the processes involved in the implementation of Community-based health program (CBHP) which has been proven an effective tool for contributing some remedies to the ever worsening health situation in the country.
The programme is presented in an outline form and is meant to serve as an initial guide to only those who are new what CBHP is all about and handy guideline to those familiarity with CBHP goes deeper.
The introductory Remarks which was prepared by Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan who himself was among those who pioneered this new approach to Community Health, will give the readers an orientation to CBHP and will properly conceptualize the whole programme outline in the light of present realities.
We hope that the information shared by this pamphlet will be an opening door towards a recognition of the close interrelationship of systems with society wherein health is only one aspect.
